 Ithaca, Cornell University Campus, next to Big Red Barn, near entrance to courtyard by Mallot Hall, tree is growing in a gravel courtyard next to sweetgum trees., 15 ft tall with maple-like leaves, 7 lobes and serrated margins. Lobes are more pointy than other maple species. Leaf coloration ranges from green to dark purple and palmate venation.
